Cosmetics are unregulated and often made from poorly tested chemicals so it’s important to read ingredient labels on these products. These are common ingredients in cosmetics that can have harmful contaminants:

- Diazolidinyl urea
- Imidazolidinyl urea
- Ceteareth
- PEG and Polyethylene
Also, any “fragrance” on the ingredient label that doesn’t come from a natural source (such as essential oils) can contain hundreds of chemicals and trigger allergic reactions.
